Out in the Danvers’ porch/balcony, Alex sits on Jeremiah’s telescope stool, sad and teary. Behind her, unnoticed by her older sister, Kara looks at her heartbroken, also with tears in her eyes. Kara is now wearing clothes with the same colors as her future supersuit. Same setting as the previous panel. Alex is still on the stool, grieving her dad. Kara now is looking away, as if thinking of something. Kara is in a forest, arms in a Supergirl pose and looking up with determination. She means serious business. Kara is in a forest, flying up to once again, confront her fear of getting close to people on the tree she had been practicing before. She is serious, she is determined, she IS going to hug her sister. Alex needs her.

On a grey, gloomy and rainy day, the Danvers family stands before Jeremiah’s tombstone, mourning him. Alex is hugging her mother Eliza while Kara holds their arms and looks at the grave, crying. Same sad setting. Lara lets go of Eliza and Alex and looks to her side, deep in thought. Same setting. Alex still cries while being comforted by Eliza, who has noticed Kara’s sudden absence. Eliza: ? Same setting as previous panels. Kara is back at super speed, a mix of sheepishness and sadness on her face. She’s now wearing the glasses Jeremiah had made for her. Eliza smiles at her and a heart is seen on a speech balloon coming out of Eliza. Alex has missed the whole exchange, still face hidden and latching onto her mother.

Alex is sitting on the rug smiling while Kara, holding the bowl, tries a potsticker and floats up with excitement. Kara: oh my Rao, what—what magic is this?! Same setting from the back. Kara is emptying the bowl of potstickers while sitting-floating and Alex is sitting on the rug looking at her. Alex: potstickers.
