I think I am above All internet "discourse" now.
The Unmitigated Opinions Industry has reached critical mass and I want off the ride yesterday

As for some LGBTQ folks and allies, I think it comes from some folks' desire to be supportive but don't know how to and others assuming that because you're in their "in-group" that you're okay with certain in-jokes or labels.

Like with the whole "cracked eggs" discourse.

yikes it’s getting into the weird “heritage American” right wing discourse now

December 21, 2025 at 6:41 AM
im retreating here bc there's bl vs gl discourse on the other site again, with all the same tired arguments and assumptions. my blood pressure isn't as stable as it was to endure another round of this

'Are authoritarian regimes appropriating decolonial discourse? What is BRICS-Postcolonialism? Have you ever asked yourself these questions?'

Ehh, I get kinda annoyed at how that discourse overshadowed his blatant xenophobia and misogyny. Along with how it's used to moralistically shut down any discussion of the franchise. Yeah I don't want to support him as a creator, but I should still be able to engage in media criticism about fnaf.

Yeah, i switched off as soon as I saw sussan Leyy get shit about it. I thought, fuck this, I'm not going to consume any more of this fucking discourse...

Marina Solntseva takes this contradiction as a starting point to deconstruct the appropriation of decolonial discourse by colonial powers and to ask what it means to be on the left and in solidarity with the oppressed.
"Imagine how surprised Russia’s indigenous peoples must be to read that the Global South has decided to show solidarity with Vladimir Putin’s Russia rather than with them"
An important text by Marina Solntseva on what anticoloniality and solidarity is not, and the mattering of indigenous lives in each and every context. Glad to see a link to our text with Selbi Durdiyeva that critically analyses selective anti-imperialism on the left berlinergazette.de/why-russias-...

I'm guessing it went like this:
IGA did zero research as they don't care about AI in the slighest
Someone sent them a TikTok video of the latest trendy discourse (targeting E33 because it's famous = more views for videos)
IGA realizes it's indeed trendy and hops on
More views for IGA too! Win!!

That's just information to me, because I've switched into robot mode so that I can enjoy some fucking peace for the night.

However, the topic of "unwitnessed existence" doesn’t seem to have entered relational trauma discourse in a significant way yet, but I think it should... 🧵

anyway, the non-marketing-brochure side of autonomous cars is actually quite interesting IMO and i feel like we'd have better discourse online if more people were into it, but, car culture gonna cult! www.thedriverlessdigest.com/p/autonomous...

I have to break myself out of my American centered mindset when I see Discourse and scandals from overseas when I remember "oh, there was never a major counterculture movement against authority there."

This emerging mini-discourse on enlightenment and religion is hopelessly Anglophone.

It's obvious that in a broader perspective, the epistemic ideals of some representative parts of the enlightenment are ultimately secularizing if not outright atheistic.

Bigger Than Myths: Anatomy, Athleticism, and Desire
A sexual health professional discusses the visibility and appreciation of larger clitorises among athletic women, emphasizing that variation in anatomy is natural and not indicative of sexual behavior or health issues. The discourse encourages respectful communication and exploration, fostering connection and confidence while rejecting fetishization in favor of understanding and appreciation of diverse bodies.
