Au-Wom Wombat Forest #eddycovariance tower spring clean and check ups. No water ingress in this anemometer 😃 And no damage from the storm on Wednesday, only one tree down in the plot. The DIY Lora #dendrometers survived winter too - mostly.

Good news! We installed a new #eddycovariance flux tower this week during a too short trip to the outback. This time we're monitoring salt bush vegetation. It is a fantastic opportunity to work in an arid landscape. Seemingly endless plains, great scenery, and ever changing colours. #ozflux

After the recent redesign /rebuild and upgrade of the Au-Whr Whroo flux tower to prevent further theft and vandalism, we now reinstalled a mixture of old and new soil sensors. #eddycovariance

OzFlux's #eddyCovariance data workshop (1-7 July) applications are open. Each day has fantastic intro to #flux theory lectures followed by hands-on data processing in PyFluxPro. I learned so much attending last year.

I am definitely a terrestrial person, so tomorrow I may be in deep water when I tell about our work on VOCs in freshwater and marine ecosystems, May 1st at 10:45 in room E2 at #EGU25.

The photo is evidence for that I have been by a lake shore. 2018, starting #EddyCovariance measurements in Abisko.
