#Egalitarianism
These are startlingly stunted men who’ve been privilege-shielded from the natural consequences of being little assholes in mixed company while growing up. This is why egalitarianism is so important for a stabile healthy society. Privilege breeds emotionally stunted sociopaths, every time.

From Georgia Nicholl's "Between the sheets: physiological sex acts in the contemporary romance novel"

Note: as far as I can tell, this article only looks at novels with heterosexual, cis protagonists.

The requisite notion a boon to cognitive egalitarianism

1/ Egalitarianism should begin at home. I link to this article by @bencasselman.bsky.social in light of the communications between Larry Summers and Jeffrey Epstein that have just been released. The released emails and the fact of friendship are vile.

I think its best to say what the Nequinum world does better than Earth societies: great respect for nature, egalitarianism between genbders/races, servants/workers given fair wages, low poverty rates, better care for the poor/homeless, children respected better, etc.

What's up, #NovemberWorldbuilders peeps! Have you dared to get a little freaky with your worldbuilding? Does your fictional world's society believe something to be good or evil which societies on Earth (generally speaking) do not agree with? How did you come up with that idea?👀

The innate worth of all human beings is the same, and all human beings deserve the essence of life in equal measure, and striving toward radical egalitarianism is not only transformative to society but to the person striving. The low places spoken of in old texts are where all the progress is.

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Supremacy and the defense of it lies at the root of the vast majority of evil and the only corrective is militant egalitarianism.

What I said doesn't necessarely undermine women who wish to change their look. The problem is the imposition of such standards regardless of what they want

This also applies to men too in different ways, but women get the worse treatment. That's why feminism isn't called humanism or egalitarianism
November 14, 2025 at 2:31 PM
Now you're just being dishonest.

Not treating someone differently based on their sex is the opposite of misogynistic. It's called egalitarianism.

You sound like the other person that doesn't know what words mean.

It's crazy, being against sexism is bad these days.....

My wokest opinion is that egalitarianism is a fundamental, defining element of our species, and all hierarchy is corrosive, poisonous, and anti-human. It is power itself that is the eternal, common enemy of humanity.

And the Indus Valley civilisation - millions existing at least 2000 years across a large (multi-country size) region with plumbing the Romans would have envied and peaceful egalitarianism for all that time - without rulers or money - nothing notable about them I suppose?

Like Jesus said.
Only protect your own.
You know.
🤨
How Jesus was absolutely against egalitarianism, right?

Human beings are incapable of functioning inside of power relations without dysfunction; hard egalitarianism is the only social structure that will not generate massive, systemic problems with mental health and cruelty.

(It won't be perfect but unlike other systems won't actively make things worse)

Egalitarianism in the pre-hierarchical times had in fact many different faces and hierarchies were more common than we think

The other thing I want to challenge is his invocation of meritocracy and characterization of his stated opponents as "loser men". Not because the latter is entirely misplaced, but because the former (which grounds the latter) steps away from the egalitarianism which, at least for me, founds Leftism.

We the ppl, are facing a reality choice. We vote, and these GOP suits remain, or we face the truth and unite regardless of party for egalitarianism govt, civil liberties, lawful society and a transparent unbiased judicial system w/out fear or favor in pursuit of accountability.

I keep saying I should finish The Bright-Headed Boys, about lizard-people conspiracy theories, othering, dehumanization, classism in the guise of egalitarianism, and the evil which is capitulation and keeping mum. Truth is, that would require staring straight down deep into a lot of ugliness and–

This research paper examines the moral foundations for using severity of illness as a priority-setting criterion in healthcare. The authors argue that prioritarianism, which gives greater weight to improving the health of the worse off, is superior to egalitarianism.
