#Elementron
elementrons will create two down quarks so the neutron is stable.

Elemental magnetism is the means by which elementrons attract similar (same-element) elementrons both to other neutrons in its atom and to other nearby atoms. In order for elemental magnetism to begin, the elementron must be inside a

'manatrons' It's elementrons, actually 😂 And they call the things WE call elements 'atomotypes'

One elementron is equivalent to 2 down quarks, i.e. an elementron is a -2/3 e. They will bind into neutrons randomly and replace their down quarks. When they leave a neutron,

nuclei of a substance you want to turn magical is how you get magical items. Much of alchemy is the process of getting a magic elementron from one source (usually an animal's body part that produces it naturally) into something usable (like an enchanted gold ring or a potion one can drink)

And that if the Water elementron is just out in the wild, they can't control it. Experiments are not repeatable. Only when the elementron is bonded to other stuff does it become science, then the elementron acts predictably

To use an example of my world where magic and science are married and both exist without question:

They understand that two hydrogen atoms bonded into an oxygen is water. They understand that a Water elementron CAN make water... but it might also make oil. Or lemonade, or wine, or sulfuric acid.

drinks their blood will acquire magic powers.

Magic particles ambiently exude off the cores and go "where they're needed" (based on their own science). For instance, if a plant is grown and its DNA calls for a Light elementron in its petals, the elementrons will zip there and join the petal.
