so i only today realised why the electric cadillac escalade is called the escaladeIQ

and shouldn't it be pronounced ick instead of eye-cue?

because… the reason it's named that is BC cadillac's other EVs all end in IQ like optiq, lyriq, vistiq, and celestiq

because you could have an EscaladeIQ EV with 460mi of range for 40% less, and it's way nicer. Or a Hummer EV. Or a Rivian Quad Motor for half the price. All of which are way nicer and more comfortable and capable- and cheaper.

I think this is all about the market size. The EV manufacturers know there is ample space to compete in the “smaller” 3 row space and no one is going up to Suburban size yet because it’s a smaller market. Some options up there would be nice though Cadillac may be first with the EscaladeIQ
