Small world. Stanley, Holsapple, Mitch Easter. Those guys have all donated to the SFC/UNC as well. The entire Merge records catalog with masters is there as well as the Sugar Hill catalog and others. People think of SFC as “folklife” but it is a much broader collection. It is the honor of my career

more examples. I shot like this for a few years, most are done with Nikon FM2's and fast lenses like the 85/1.8 or 180/2.8, 35/2 and 24/2.8 wide open. I also used an M3 and M4 with the 35/2 and 50 summicron. the last photo here was with an F2 and 35/2.

here these are some examples of P3200 in Diafine, but rated at around 640EI, I would meter the shadows where I wanted detail and then let the highlights and midtones fall where they would knowing the highlights/D Max wouldn't "block" in development. this only works in contrasty scenes.
