最近はいろんなサイトが「パスキー」を使えとウルサイ。試しにandroid/googleにパスキーを登録してログインしようとするがgoogle側の認証画面で数字を入力するも入力自体を受け付けない。日本語入力フロントエンドが悪さをしてるかを確認するためにS-Shoinを無効化したら入力できた。googleの認証画面が1文字入力毎に欄を自動移動する仕様も、数字入力なのに未確定状態にするS-Shoinもどっちも悪いぞ。😡

最近はいろんなサイトが「パスキー」を使えとウルサイ。試しにandroid/googleにパスキーを登録してログインしようとするがgoogle側の認証画面で数字を入力するも入力自体を受け付けない。日本語入力フロントエンドが悪さをしてるかを確認するためにS-Shoinを無効化したら入力できた。googleの認証画面が1文字入力毎に欄を自動移動する仕様も、数字入力なのに未確定状態にするS-Shoinもどっちも悪いぞ。😡

Qué teclado usáis en Android? Me refiero a la "app", rollo gboard, swiftkey... Yo uso este último, pero desde que cambié de móvil y se me actualizó, me parece que es BASTANTE PEOR en predicciones y correcciones y, además, tiene una mierda de lA que ocupa mucho espacio visual...

One of the fun aspects of having GBoard set to work on 3 languages at once is that any suitably long word will usually end up being guessed as sth unrelated in Welsh.
Also "which" usually becomes "eich" ("your", but formal), even in the middle of an English sentence

for any of my linguistics nerd friends who weren't already aware, gboard has a fully integrated IPA keyboard now !! I just stumbled upon it when I was fiddling with my settings and I'm obsessed

hi! im using gboard so ymmv but after you've typed a character than can be modified (with ﾞ, ﾟor small characters), the language switch key (globe button) changes.
as for katakana, autocorrect bar so u can choose katakana or kanji or halfwidth or whatever

Can any of y'all using the Obsidian Android app tell me what would make this weird and non-responsive keyboard mode surface in the middle of a note? It usually goes away in a minute, but it's annoying anyway. And I've never seen Gboard do that before; am running Android 16 on a Pixel 9 Pro.

Problem is it's unsupported for years, and won't install at all on Android 14 or 15.I haven't found an alternative that is as good. Best Swyping experience are Google Gboard or Microsoft SwiftKey. Both not great from a privacy perspective. Pity, as Gboard excellent for multilanguagual input.
