I've recently been using Emacs in a terminal instead of its GTK frontend. This is mostly because the PGTK GUI for the version of Emacs (version 30.2... so the newest AFAIK) shipped in Fedora is abysmally slow when full-screened at 4K display resolution. This doesn't seem to be the case with GNOME's terminal (full-screened at the same resolution), so now I'm using Emacs in the terminal as a workaround.

Bantul (MTsN 9 Bantul) – Guru dan Tenaga Kependidikan (GTK) MTsN 9 Bantul mengikuti asesmen Indeks Moderasi Beragama yang diselenggarakan oleh Kantor Kementerian Agama Kabupaten Bantul pada Rabu (31/12/2025). Kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari upaya pemetaan dan penguatan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama di lingkungan satuan pendidikan madrasah. Asesmen diikuti oleh seluruh GTK MTsN 9 Bantul dan dikerjakan secara mandiri sesuai petunjuk dari Kemenag Bantul melalui instrumen yang telah disiapkan. Indikator yang diukur meliputi komitmen kebangsaan, toleransi, anti kekerasan, serta penerimaan terhadap tradisi lokal sebagai pilar utama moderasi beragama. Kepala MTsN 9 Bantul, Siti Solichah, menyampaikan bahwa keikutsertaan GTK dalam asesmen ini merupakan bentuk dukungan terhadap program Kementerian Agama.

Bantul (MTsN 9 Bantul) — Dalam rangka memantapkan persiapan pelaksanaan Upacara Hari Amal Bakti (HAB) Kementerian Agama, Guru dan Tenaga Kependidikan (GTK) MTsN 9 Bantul menggelar latihan upacara di halaman madrasah pada Selasa (30/12/2025). Kegiatan ini dilakukan untuk memastikan seluruh rangkaian upacara dapat berlangsung tertib, lancar, dan khidmat. Latihan diikuti oleh guru dan tenaga kependidikan yang bertugas sebagai petugas upacara, meliputi pemimpin upacara, pengibar bendera, pembaca teks Pancasila, pembaca Undang-Undang Dasar 1945, pembaca doa, serta petugas protokol. Masing-masing petugas berlatih sesuai peran yang diemban, mulai dari sikap sempurna, penghormatan, hingga alur perpindahan petugas pada setiap sesi upacara.

Hey, I have been under distress lately due to personal circumstances that are outside my control. I cannot find a permanent job that allows me to function, I am not eligible for government benefits, my grant proposals to work on free and open-source projects got rejected, paid internships are quite difficult to find, especially when many of them prioritize new contributors. Essentially, I have no stable, monthly income that allows me to sustain myself. Nowadays, I mostly volunteer to improve accessibility throughout GNOME apps, either by enhancing the user experience for people with disabilities, or enabling them to use them. I helped make most of GNOME Calendar accessible with a keyboard and screen reader, with additional ongoing effort involving merge requests !564 and !598 to make the month view accessible, all of which is an effort no company has ever contributed to, or would ever contribute to financially. These merge requests require literal thousands of hours for research, development, and testing, enough to sustain me for several years if I were employed. I would _really_ appreciate any kinds of donations, especially ones that happen periodically to increase my monthly income. These donations will allow me to sustain myself while allowing me to work on accessibility throughout GNOME, essentially ‘crowdfunding’ development without doing it on the behalf of the GNOME Foundation or another organization. As in previous, years we took another look back at what changed in Phosh in 2025 and instead of just updating our notes why not again share it again here: The Phosh developers focus from day one was to make devices running Phosh daily drivable without having to resort to any proprietary OSes as a fallback. This year showed improvements in some important areas people rely on like cell broadcasts and emergency calls, further improving usability and starting some ground work we’ll need for some upcoming features.
