It's a different approach from other tech and media giants who quietly bought a slice of the South Island. PayPal co-founder Peter Thiel, controversially a citizen since 2011, snapped up farmland on Lake Wanaka while former NBC anchor Matt Lauer acquired Hunter Valley Station near Lake Hawea. German-Finnish internet entrepreneur Kim Dotcom has a mansion near Glenorchy. There is a cultural wrinkle. Coneybeer rails against "tall poppy syndrome" "Humility is a part of what I love about New Zealand culture. And because of the poppy snipping that's happened over time, it makes it hard for people to come out and say, T'm the best in the world. I've been suc-cessful. I've done these things'," he says. Just the year. Her partner was playing VFL for Footscray and he has signed with the Devils. Her sister is a stalwart of the Glenorchy footy club. I think it’s a guarantee she goes back to Hobart.

Frequencies - 10 mins Monday to Friday 7am 7pm - 20 mins Saturday 7am 7pm - 30 mins all other times
