For me i like the asian horror vibes of I'cath ranging from a golden idyllic palace to a gloomy cemetery labyrinth. Also definitely Valachan cuz it feels like my fave movies Predator and Apocalypto. Another would be imo Har'Akir and used the Fraser Mummy movies as horror inspiration.

The desert domain Har'Akir in Ravenloft is pretty cool, but it's not Darksun cool. Vampires would as a concept fit in really well with defilers literally sucking life out of the planet too. Gives a different meaning to Strahd's 'I am the ancient, I am the land' quote he throws around a lot.

A GM and great friend of mine gave me a special hook-up in an old Pathfinder 1e / D&D 3 Campaign. A campaign taking place Har'Akir. My little Kobold Sorcerer became imbued with a mystical vision and appropriate powers through Mystic Tiers! Kobold smoked Catfolk Nip and gained Premonitions.

Anyways, she was meant to be a kinda inquisition bot, basically a heresy detector/enforcer since Har'Akir has a theocracy type beat.
One night when she was arresting heretics, she got jumped and was partially dismantled.
