I felt SO seen in the recent #NYTCrossword! (Props to #The3Contraltos too!) At first I worried “midrange” meant in quality. 👀 LOL. Thankfully, it was just vocal range. 👏 Who is your favorite Alto? I often first think of #KathleenFerrier, also a #contralto. Her woodwind-like tone is so affecting. 🎵
