I just witnessed a practical joke! Saw a small machine with a logo from Garðlist “clear” a street of snow and slush at Kirkjusandur. Just one quick pass in the middle of the street and that was it. Aaahahaahaa winter road maintenance is a joke in Reykjavík, ahhh, ooo it feels good to laugh. 😂

It's just east of Höfn, the turn off before the tunnel. The mountains are Vestrahorn and Brunnhorn. The beach is called Kirkjusandur :)
