Their fall is so disappointing. I loved my old Deskjet 842c from 2000, that thing served faithfully & hard for years; I'd probably still be using it if it hadn't shaken the paper ramp liftarm loose back in 2021. Also had a really solid HP keyboard of similar age that I used up until 2024.

the year 3 helmets are quite easy

it's just a thin liftarm or two, a pair of axles, and one of the metru head eyestalks with an axle-hole in it

1927 Art deco enamel “Jazz Age” Dunhill 18K gold pocket petrol liftarm lighter. The rare B size Unique solid gold liftarm lighter was made in the La Nationale Swiss workshop and enameled in Paris. The modernist design shows both a Paris Jazz band and circus. One of the most important late 1920’s

@cassidy

I think it's only a liftarm if it has an L-shaped protrusion.

I will now be calling this a holey studless beam. Thanks to your kid!

looking at the spiny stone ape saying it uses a dark bluish gray 1x13 liftarm when those didn't exist until a few years after the contest ended. so like what was it then, an 11?

This sturdy #LEGO Technic frame has a versatile life! The Modified Thick 5 x 11 Open Center Liftarm (64178) has been around since 2009, exclusively in Light Bluish Gray. While common in Technic cars, it also supports the sleek Emirates Team New Zealand AC75 Yacht (42174)! #LEGOCommunity #LEGOTechnic

Today I fixed a 1940s #Warner 130 #Liftarm Aluminum #Lighter
MADE IN USA (Glendale, CA). I had to replace the worn flint wheel. In order to do that I had to press out the pin and drill with a carbide bit a larger hole into a replacement flint wheel. The lighter works great.

The Kalamahri 20k!

This is a heavily modded Hero Factory Dropship, as I decided to revamp an old dropship mod I had just sitting on my desktop.

Also the hoses are meant to click into the blue liftarm at the top, but couldn't be asked to fight with it.

I scrapped Kai's catamaran a week after I got it... it's a joy to behold, but there is so much horizontal area for so little usable surface, and the way the function-actuating liftarm dips below the bottom of the boat gives me the ick

@toomuchdew.bsky.social did you get a chance to check on the THICK liftarm 1x3?

And the tool would intelligently suggest how your blocks could be grouped into forms that are actual production lego technic parts, I.e. 3 of part 18654 in a line would make a 3L liftarm (part 32523)
