People like to be congratulated into and out of things, but there isn't that to keep a person going after beginning to repent from sin. By God's grace, a person a) sees their need and truly trusts Christ, b) they don't see their need, or c) they don't truly trust in the actual Christ of the Bible.
Not only may a person repent to the acknowledging of the truth if God grants it, but this repentant person may also perhaps recover themselves out of the snare of the devil. That very person who is taken captive by the devil at his will, that person may repent if God grants it: so let us instruct.

People like to be congratulated into and out of things, but there isn't that to keep a person going after beginning to repent from sin. By God's grace, a person a) sees their need and truly trusts Christ, b) they don't see their need, or c) they don't truly trust in the actual Christ of the Bible.
An old book says: Be angry and yet without sin [i.e. righteously]. This isn't about petty slights and overlookings that kill nobody.
