Well, because it'd be nice to know of any queer community you might know of there that I don't. Margaretville I know basically as a tourist town with an expensive grocery store and an even more expensive main st. Their school rarely interacted with ours even though Roxbury's the next town.

apropos of nothing: my great-great-grandfather Isaac Birdsall used to be the postmaster of New Kingston, and according to local lore he would walk the mail route to and from Margaretville every day

Less facetiously, I grew up near a rural town called Susanville, and I don't see many town names like it. I appreciate knowing there is a Margaretville.
