Infographic: Most mefloquine users were only told about a few possible side effects like dreams, anxiety, and dizziness. At the very least, anyone using mefloquine should have been told, (highlighted quote) "If you experience any side effects, immediately cease use!" (bold) NOT Speech bubbles saying "Suck it up, soldier." "Most people tolerate the drug very well" "It's probably just travel stress." "The alternatives are much more expensive." Bottom note: At Mefaction we do not believe this drug should have been given to anyone whose side effects could be confused with reactions to their situation.

40% of Peace Corp suffered the adverse events of #Mefloquine(#Lariam)🧠 Those funky dreams/nightmares, were early warning signs of 🧠 damage, and the drug should have been discontinued.
