After visiting Raukken, we caught the Narrung ferry across the narrows between Lake Alexandrina and Lake Albert, stopping at the only inland lighthouse in the Southern Hemisphere.
After a slight delay due to some cows on the road, we made it back to our camp in Meningie.

We’ve made it our camp on the shores of Lake Albert, after a quick charge at Victor Harbor and then crossing the mighty Murray River at Wellington.

Meningie is a funny old town. Camped there once in the caravan park - all good. Quiet in the main street. On a later trip we were looking for fixed accommodation and people did not seem to want to accept our $$$ 🙄🤔

Just booked the ferry for a three-night trip next month checking out the Narrung Peninsula at the mouth of the Murray River, staying at the town of Meningie.

The EV road trip from Melbourne to Adelaide went well. Some nice misty views while driving yesterday. Especially around the Grampians. Skies opened up this afternoon with beautiful views through the Adelaide Hills. Stops along the way at Ballarat, Dunkeld (overnight), Horsham, Keith, Meningie.
