Yeah, exactly this. I think there are other elements with the misogeny stuff (control, sex of course) but so much of it is just about people fitting into your imagined lifeworld of hierarchy

men hating women is an extension of how our system works (normalized misogeny) women hating men is a wrong but understandable response to an oppressive system. Its not as strongly linked with sexuality as it seems, moreso the system it is inside of. (sorry for an oddly late reply)

Ik snap wat je bedoelt, maar het gaat voorbij aan het feit dat misogeny/vrouwenonderdrukking niet ontstaan is in de moderne tijd. Het bestaat al 100den zo niet 1000den jaren, waarbij vrouwen onderdrukt worden. Harari geeft daar een aantal verklaringen voor, seksualisering is daar niet 1 van.
