#Ocrevus
For kesimpta, there was a phase II dose finding study. For rituximab and ocrevus, no such study was done prior to them being widely used in MS

Am glad I have both, though. Cause ocrevus is 90 something grand a year.

Which. Tysabri was more. But at the same time, it was less per dose, just monthly doses.

But all the same.

I like how the ocrevus sunovo commercial ends with someone singing "ocrevus sunovo"

Ahhhh no Ocrevus… but 1, 2, 6, 8 were before Ocrevus. So I guess I'm the greatest horror villain crossover ever! 🤪

Oh yeah. My neuro is also HELLA supportive of "Hey, yeah, you *hardcore* should be wearing a well fitted respirator to protect yourself."

Like. Ocrevus nukes your B cells. And puts you more at risk of getting sick and infections. Which. So far, so good. Which is good because I'm no stranger to-

It's hella useful. Esp.l considering being able to track that is very necessary for being able to figure out if DMTs are working.

Which. Knock on wood, but so far, ocrevus is doing great 🥹

damn this ocrevus infusion takes forever. Thankfully, only 2x a year

Definitely the ADHD!

The MS is more like a really dense, thick, molasses-y, brain fog.

One’s very loud and distracting, the other is just super difficult to push my thoughts through.

Thankfully though, my Ocrevus treatments have made that fog dissipate, so it’s less like wading through syrup now

I love my Ocrevus, and the wonderful naps I get to take after all the Benadryl 😂😅 Hope all is well 🧡

What medicine do you take? I speak fluent MS (Ocrevus infusions, here).

MRI was stable! 😺

Feeling the expected amount of crummy (I mean, my B cells were killed off today).

I got the "big O" today, and not the fun kind...

My insurance will now only let me get my Ocrevus infusion at home with a traveling nurse, so I'm currently in my living room, hooked up to an IV, watching stupid tv while he's working on his computer. #awkward

Well, I'm SPMS now so honestly who knows if it is. There's no metric I can use to tell. I think about this all the time. But since I've been on Ocrevus and started PT (what y'all call physio I think) I haven't really gotten much worse (knocking on every wood surface).

This is a case report of 30 year old woman taking ocrevus for multiple sclerosis who developed fever, double vision, difficulty swallowing, weakness who was found to have rhombencephalitis caused by human herpesvirus 6 (HHV-6) (very rare complication) pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/41284955/

Visions of Eternity drops tomorrow and I have to wait to play because I get to have my spine looked at with magnets instead.

Like. It's GOOD. I'm not at all nervous about shit. (Mainly because the last time I had C or T spine imaging done was WAAAY before ocrevus.)

I'm not going to be able to-

This observational study found that young treatment-naive people with relapsing MS (mean age 31) taking ocrevus as a first line therapy did well. 81.8% had no 24-week confirmed disability progression. 85.0% had no MRI activity. Relapses were very rare. www.neurology.org/doi/10.1212/...
