Saw #OneFlewOverTheCuckoo’sNest in a Geography lecture theatre at @durham-university.bsky.social on a very hot evening in mid 1070s. You could smoke indoors then. At a tense moment, lobotomy(?), a guy leaned forward & stubbed his fag out on the bare back of the woman in front. Neither made a sound.
My friend’s mum was in America when Jaws came out, and said when she went a man in front of her was eating buttered popcorn. When the head fell out of the boat, he shouted and threw the box up in the air. Half the audience spent the rest of the film picking greasy popcorn off their clothes
