Osmotherley to the Lion Inn, Blakey Ridge
20 miles across the Cleveland Hill, Urra Moor & Farndale Moor, via the North York Moors highest point at Round Hill (454m).
A superb day’s hillwalking.
This is now my 9th C2C and I’m guiding the route for C2C Packhorse.

20 miles across the Cleveland Hill, Urra Moor & Farndale Moor, via the North York Moors highest point at Round Hill (454m).

I don’t *think* Osmotherley made it over here! But we do have North York, Scarborough, Whitby, Pickering, and Malton quite close by. Thank you for the terriers, they’re my favourite.

Anyone familiar with the village of Osmotherley? It's a village in North Yorkshire. Walked around it a bit yesterday. A pub is for sale. The tea rooms are for sale. The fish and chip shop is for sale. And loads of 'for sale' signs outside the beautifully kept stone cottages. Anyone know why?
