This time of year in my garden is irrevocably associated with the kindness of @exitthelemming’s gift, #PandemicPoems. I was delighted to hear his reading of my request, Joyce Grenfell’s ‘I’m Going to See You Today’. Now I’m stuck at home with my first Covid infection, listening.

This time two years ago I sat in my garden and listened to @exitthelemming reading Joyce Grenfell’s ‘I’m going to see you today’, recorded at my request for #PandemicPoems. Here’s a small ‘thank you’ for something I still think of.

Casting my mind back to early Summer last year. Thinking of sitting in my little garden listening to #PandemicPoems thanks to @exitthelemming and to @SirPatStew reciting Shakespeare’s sonnets for us. So generous, so warm, so kind and thoughtful.
