This time of year in my garden is irrevocably associated with the kindness of @exitthelemming’s gift, #PandemicPoems. I was delighted to hear his reading of my request, Joyce Grenfell’s ‘I’m Going to See You Today’. Now I’m stuck at home with my first Covid infection, listening.

Casting my mind back to early Summer last year. Thinking of sitting in my little garden listening to #PandemicPoems thanks to @exitthelemming and to @SirPatStew reciting Shakespeare’s sonnets for us. So generous, so warm, so kind and thoughtful.

Oh this is just too good!

As part of his @SoundCloud #PandemicPoems project, @exitthelemming gives us The Prodigy's 'Firestarter' in the style of an old Shakespearean sonnet.

Note to @exitthelemming: In @SoundCloud's settings, you can change the bit after .com/ in your page's main web address (where it currently says 'user-115260978'). Make this 'PandemicPoems', and your feed will track better in searches – both within SoundCloud, and beyond.

Throwing a few pages on to the #PandemicPoems bandwagon.

Will try to keep them apt, or at least entertaining.
