a grey morphed, reef heron, with wings spread, and beak open -- it has yellow talons, its stomping on concrete path of the pier. you can see a green colored sea in the background. the grey morph with breeding plume, looking down the edge of the pier for food. a different heron at the pier, there's a boat in the background, red and yellow. heron is floating on a white styrofoam, and there is litter floating around it.

a large bird, looking towards the photographer with a frog in its beak - the belly is towards the photographer - and the head towards the stork. the frog is caught across the neck, and two of its hind legs are dangling. the bird is large with black wings, and grey belly, it has a white head, with tuft of hair (resembling some evil mad scientist) - blue eyes and pale coloured beak. there is green grass all around it, and near its leg you can see soil where it has dug to find the frog. a peafowl sitting between grass on a flat area, just after finishing it's dance and lowering the tail. in the background you can see trees with green and brown leaves. a bird with long legs, and thick knees - the color is mainly white and various shades of brown and black. it has a yellow eye. it has a thick beak, mostly black in the front half. it's in front of dry leaves on ground, which helps the bird camouflage in plain sight. an egret with yellow feet, black legs and blackbeak, has its head focused on the ground to find some food (fish discards) - it has a lot of breeding plumage visible) there's a large ferry behind it, out of focus, red, yellow and black colored.

backwaters with lots of green foliage in background and also getting reflected in the water. there are 3 birds, the 2 in the back are Great Egrets, white birds with long neck. the one in the middle and in the foreground is a painted stork - black and white feathers in the wing, a white neck, yellow beak and part of the head is red. it has its beak opened and in the water looking for food. flamboyance of flamingos of various age and size, the ones flying are showing the red and black wings. a small open section between two large portions of mangroves, with bushes and leaves visible. the open stretch has a variety of birds visible, the intermediate egrets with their long necks are all standing, the little egret has its beak in the water, next to it there is a small group of three stilts huddled together. - further behind are more egrets, and a bird captured flying. a photograph with multiple egrets -- from little - intermediate and great egrets. they are all standing/in salt pans - you can see rows of dry land between the water sections. small sandpiper family birds in the front right.

Asian Wooly-necked Stork. A bird sitting on stone, with one leg holding the other, between green grass. there is stone (river bank) behind. The stork is glistening black overall with a black "skull cap", a downy white neck which gives it its name. Today’s #BirdOfTheDay theme is #UnderRated and I can't imagine anyone else being ignored in the jungle as much -- Babblers and Treepies are everywhere so no one bothers with them, but they are so much fun to observe.

a photograph of jungle babbler, it's a small round bird with mostly brown shades of feather, a yellow eye and black iris. the beak is also ranging from yellow to shades of brown. this one was perched on the jeep bar (covered with cloth) - and waiting for us to give it some fried carbs, similar to how others were doing in their vehicle. this was photographed in ranthambore A roufus treepie perched on a jeep looking at the other jeeps where the tourists are giving food to Treepies and Babblers. A reminder - don't feed wildlife, don't make them dependent, it is bad for them,t he environment. Stop being selfish to get that one cool picture of wildbird on your hand. The bird is black head, golden orange body, some black and white wing tips, and tails also has black and white feathers.
