#RGDP
There was always (and it’s been obvious since the summer) this dynamic where trend productivity had to go down but the 2025 forecasts had to go up. We did more RGDP by June than they pencilled in for the whole year! But unclear how exactly they finessed that.

Interesting that Alberta has grown its RGDP despite the energy sector slump.

If I squint, there's a pretty strong correlation between housing unaffordability (ON+BC the worst) and low growth.

Canada's provincial economic accounts came out this week—in 2024, all provinces & Nunavut grew!

Fastest: Nunavut (6.9%), PEI (3.8%), Nova Scotia (3.1%), Alberta (3%), Saskatchewan (3%)

Slowest: Yukon (-2.5%), NW Territories (-0.8%), British Columbia (1.1%), Ontario (1.6%), Manitoba (1.7%)

"weve invented a new way to store labour as capital and this will create paradise and infinite power for me and my company you should invest in"

Always turns out to be 2-3% rgdp growth. Economy is just a fungal organism with a set uptake of 2-3%

Yeah I mean I think people can and do argue directionally but what’s clear is it must be small. It’s just the nature of an exponential growth that most wealth is recent and always will be. At 2% rgdp growth 50% of all wealth was generated in the last 36 years, for example.

Honestly, it tracks with my recent experience. It's been impossible to get anyone interested in such a basic thing as a proper model of the industry. Most colleagues and clients start and end at "industry revenue = X*GDP growth" (with a split between whether to use RGDP or NGDP, but same X).

de tentativa erro é impossivel porque o domain nao esta listed e nem pagina temos!

se nao foi do ataque às financas foi do banco porque como te disse apenas uso para essas 2 coisas!

e pensavamos nós que isto do RGDP ia resolver estes problemas!

Q2 RGDP rose 3.3%, but the real economy is asset-scaled AI infrastructure. Agribusiness flatlined, labor was irrelevant, and imports collapsed. The market priced in extractive tech dominance, GDP is just a lagging narrative. Capital gains are the economy. Collapse is coded in the exclusions. #NoAgro

He’s really not a good proxy for this stuff - he’s not aware of macro data at all. For instance he thought rgdp has been 0% for some time

0% rgdp growth with 3% inflation instead of 0 will be crazy
September 9, 2025 at 2:16 PM
just naively i think thats pretty close to 0% rgdp growth

UK had the best H1 RGDP in the G7 and while it’s prudent to expect some of that as give back in the tariffs the uk economy is less affected than most by the tariff shock I would argue.

Dawg, we can't be fighting the two biggest countries on earth simultaneously. One of which is still throwing down +7% annually rgdp growth
The US is pushing Europe to halt all Russian oil and gas purchases and impose secondary tariffs on India and China, mirroring US measures against India. -Axios

Personnellement je prends trés très mal les dernieres menaces de Trump sur le RGDP et le DSA.

in terms of rgdp i think italy is just barely coming past 2008 levels
August 5, 2025 at 3:11 PM
Well im more saying the gains can be just be that we are adding them at half the median income and getting more than that back in rgdp
August 4, 2025 at 5:17 PM
So have you seen the real estate sector?

(i think its probably just a delayed thing, like rgdp is rising but they are less productive than an experienced employee so we can keep adding them at slightly below average per capita)

Je vérifie les conditions RGDP des sites que je consulte 😁
