Wow. Thanks for the headsup. I have already been repeatedly stunned at how terrible my parents' RTIP coverage has been. And now it's even worse? I have trouble believing that that's allowed. Wouldn't you think their level of coverage would be part of a contract they agreed to when they started?

yeah, most of the time i have the environment pane open or the files plane, unless i am plotting something :)
my latest tip is using `browseURL()` to open anything (not only the browser... for example browseURL(".") will open the current working directory with the file explorer.

I think what happened is that LA accidentally included projects that are only on the Regional Transportation Plan (20 year time horizon) but not on a RTIP (four year time horizon).

My interpretation of the inclusion pathways for stops that don't yet exist has been:
it counts now if either an alternative has been selected OR if it's in the county RTIP;
it doesn't count now but can count in the future if it's in the MPO RTP, unless it's Tier 1 then it counts even if not in RTP
