#Recharge2025
Thank you for being my #recharge2025 accountability buddy, even if you didn’t realise you were. Making a commitment to post regularly on social media and learning each week about what recharge really means for me has changed my mindset, and I don’t think that would have happened otherwise 💙

Enjoying a festive tradition of going away for the weekend to see the Christmas markets with one of my closest friends. This year was York. 🎄🎄🎄

Here’s my weekly #recharge2025 accountability.
I do enjoy the run-up to Christmas, and one way to get me into the Christmas spirit is to put up the Christmas tree with Christmas music playing the background.

Here’s my weekly #recharge2025 accountability.

This weekend I have been to not one, but two light trails: Aglow at Auckland Palace in Bishop Auckland and Nightfall at Stewart Park in Middlesbrough.
Both were fabulous 🤩

I had a bit of JOMO on Friday night – the Joy of Missing Out.
Husband: out of the evening
Me: Feet up, TV on, pizza and a glass of prosecco.
Lovely!
The picture is not of me – I was far too busy chilling out to think about drawing faces on my feet!

Good to be joining the discussions at #Recharge2025 hosted by the Danish-UK Association today.

#Denmark is the largest inward investor in UK's renewable energy system, and the developers and supply chain companies here today UK+DK, are very excited about the opportunities for investing in the UK.

Here’s my #recharge2025 accountability week 44.
I have done several lovely things this week, but unfortunately, they have been overshadowed by lots of small stressors, so I’m left feeling less than recharged. It made me think of this post I wrote last year 👇

Here’s my #recharge2025 accountability week 42.
I completed a business course run by Enterprise Made Simple (which was great 😊). The experience was a real recharge. Immersing myself in such varied perspectives reminded me how refreshing it is to step away from the familiar.

Here’s my #recharge2025 accountability week 40 - or lack of recharge is probably more accurate. I've been so busy that I found myself in the situation where my body did indeed pick a day (or two) for me. I will try better next week....

Here’s my #recharge2025 accountability week 39:
I often focus on what I can do outside of work/my business to recharge, forgetting that I can also do this while working. I joined a course last week and I’m already seeing some of the benefits outlined below, and I’m only two days in!

My holiday made me think about this. Although I did very little and slept well, I still came back tired, so maybe I wasn't getting enough of each type of rest.

Holidays 😍
Not quite the holiday we had in mind, as my husband has been unwell (although he is getting better now). However, the ‘forced stop’ has been exactly what I needed, even if I didn’t realise it at the time.
Here is the view from our cabin 👇

The practice of forest bathing originated in Japan in the 1980s as part of a national health programme. It encourages you to slow down, observe the small details of nature, and be fully present.

Here’s my #recharge2025 accountability week 31:
This post isn’t about how I’ve been adding to my week to recharge; instead, it’s about how I have been looking at what I can remove, so when I am doing nice things, I’m not worrying about my to-do list. I have been building a subtraction habit.

Not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, but 5 hedgehogs in our garden.
There were actually six, but one was camera shy…
