I had some instability with this plugin in combination with the other #GNOMEextensions I'm running, so (for now) I'm using #Clementine and #Rythmbox to listen to internet media streams.

Average Linux experience. Doesn’t even matter if Arch or debian based, nothing beyond the browser and rythmbox works, and you will spend hours troubleshooting something that should have worked from the getgo.

Somehow my PC can Handle 3 instances of Unity, Unity Hub, 2 Instances of Blender, OperaGX, Fire Fox, 2 Instances of GIMP, Krita, The iCloud app for Linux, and Rythmbox all at the same time.

But it can’t handle Starting up with OperaGX, A game of City Skylines, Moded Surviving Mars and some MC Mods.

趣味PA（音響係）でBGM流すときに、スマホじゃなくてこいつで流せば、急な着信音にずっと怯えることなく、精神的に安定してやれる。
いま、Bluetoothでスピーカーとつながってる。JBLスピーカーはやはりいい音だ。
※ハイレゾとかではないのでホントになにかの催しの合間にちょっと流すBGM的な音質。でも全然悪くない。ファイル形式が.oggなのも理由かな？（MP3よりはるかに音質よく圧縮できる。UbuntuのRythmboxでリッピングするとき、特に指定しないとコレになる）

If you want a music player with a few more options you might enjoy Strawberry. Rythmbox is minimalist (which might be exactly what you want!) but Strawberry has a few more modern goodies. Awesome that you like Mint so much! I switched a year ago with no regrets.

I like #opensource and all, but why does RythmBox plays/resets the focused song when pressing space instead of pausing if it's playing...

Open source software alternative's biggest problem is that developers end up designing the user experience.

Gets rec after rec for various solutions of music/media managers (eg Strawberry, Rythmbox, Cyder, GNUmusicbrowser), NONE of which can sync with an iPhone.

iPod classic or nano =/=iPhone
Stream to an iPhone =/= sync
Upload files to iCloud =/= sync

nautilusで楽曲データ読めるのにrythmboxで吸い出しできなくてisoとしてddすることもできない不思議なディスクがあった。システム側に問題があるんじゃなくて試しに吸い出したディスクがなんか変だったらしく、本命のディスクの吸い出しはまともに動いてそう。

UbuntuのRythmboxでALACが再生できないのは「sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras」で解決。
