3606bby Odessen the Star of Coruscant- Theron's quarters Brey'enne watched them from the doorway for a long moment before either man noticed her. Theron stood near the window, arms crossed, posture calm in that practiced way of his—but she knew him too well. The tension was there, quiet and familiar. Jonas sat at the table, older now, softer around the edges, hands wrapped around a mug he hadn't touched. They looked at each other like people who had memorized the same map and then spent decades walking different roads. Brey cleared her throat gently. "Okay," she said, breaking the silence. "I'm not here to ambush either of you, so relax." Theron turned first. "Kiddo " She held up a hand. "Dad. Let me finish." Jonas huffed a breath, half-smile tugging at his mouth. "Still terrifying," he murmured. She stepped fully into the room, folding her arms-not defensive, just steady. "You two have spent most of your lives orbiting the same wound. I grew up hearing pieces of it from both sides, even when neither of you meant to talk about it." Theron's jaw tightened. "Brey—" "No," she said gently, but firmly. "You taught me that avoidance isn't healing. It's just... delayed pain." That landed. Jonas looked down at his hands. "She's right," he said quietly. "Always has been smarter than both of us." Theron sighed, rubbing a hand over his face. "I don't even know what we're supposed to do here." Brey smiled softly. "You don't have to do anything. You just have to stop pretending the other one doesn't matter." She turned to Jonas. "You didn't leave because you didn't Love him. You left because you were afraid you'd ruin him." Jonas swallowed. "That fear never went away." Then she looked at her father. "And you didn't hurt forever because he left. You hurt because you thought it meant you weren't enough." Theron didn't answer right away. When he did, his voice was quieter than usual. "I was eighteen. I loved like the galaxy was ending." Jonas nodded once. "And I loved like it already had." Silence settled again-but this time it wasn't sharp. Brey'enne stepped between them, placing a hand on each of their arms. "I don't need either of you to rewind time. I just want you to stop carrying this alone." She looked at Jonas. "You're not stealing anything from me. I'm happy. Truly." Then to Theron, smiling in that way that was unmistakably his daughter's. "And you... you don't have to be the strong one anymore. Not here." Theron looked at Jonas then. Really looked at him. "You hurt me," he said, honestly. Jonas met his gaze. "I know." "And you loved me," Theron continued Jonas didn't hesitate this time. "I still do." That did it. Theron exhaled, the last of the old armor slipping away. "I don't need us to be what we were," he said. "I just... don't want you gone again." Jonas stood, slow but sure. "I'm not going anywhere." Brey'enne smiled, stepping back toward the door. "Good," she said lightly. "Because Arn's expecting me, and I'd rather not explain why I orchestrated an emotional intervention."

3631 bby the GRAVESTONE Wild Space The five priests walked into the chamber of the dark sanctuary. The priests wore the corresponding colors to the God's that they represented: Red for TYTH, the God of War and the rage. Blue for SCYVA, the goddess of sorrows and apathy. Orange for AIVELA, the companion to TYTH. Green for ESNE, the envious sister. Black for IZAX the God of destruction, the devourer. The black robed priest stepped up to the huge crystal in the central chamber. "Lord IZAX." he bowed his hooded head in reverence. "I am ready to receive your blessing." he said, holding the Onyx crystal in both hands. it was thick enough that he needed both hands to hold it. The red black Crystal pulsated as if in answer to his presence. he breathed, startled, as he started to rise off of the ground. He floated up toward the top of the compartment where the crystal was inside. On top of the crystal compartment stood a waist-high podium with a round slot at the top of it. The slot was just large enough for the crystal to fit inside. Around the perimeter of the chamber stood five similar slots to the one up on top. Each priest approached, holding their crystals in front of them. They all slid their crystals into the slots in front of them. When the black-robed priest placed his crystal into the slot, there was a great wailing sound, like someone screaming. a pressure was released like a great hiss. A booming wispy voice rang out in the chamber. "It has begun, but first, the demon hunter must be disbursed." The force ghost of Valkorian lingered, trying to stay unnoticed. He screamed as his essence was sucked into the crystal. "You thought yourself powerful, but we are the ones who gave you that power. That ends now" As Valkorian was sucked into the crystal, voices were heard overlapping, like a crowded room full of people. A deep female voice rang out in the chamber. "Izax has returned. Now we only need my son Nahut to continue." "I am here mother." a sing-song voice said. The almost 7 foot tall form appeared at the doorway, heavily clad in white robes, his cowled hood pulled low over his face. A smaller figure followed him in, also hiding himself in the heavy robes. Nahut whispered to the white robed priest, then stood his full height, hiding his hands in his sleeves. The white priest stepped forward, placing his crystal into the slot in front of him. "Good." the black-robed priest said. "Now let us begin." "Place your hands upon the crystals." the female voice instructed. Nahut bent down to whisper to his priest, The priest nodded in recognition.

3631 BBY - The GRAVESTONE, Dark Sanctuary "The demon hunter must be dispersed," the voice echoed. "He has imprisoned us and is too powerful to be destroyed without your help." Borias rested his hand on the large container that held the crystal. "This demon hunter you speak of—who is he?" "The GRAVESTONE is filled with ghosts of the past. Don't pay them any mind," Valkorian's spirit said sharply, glaring at him. "They are dangerous and not to be trusted." "Liar!" the other voice boomed. "You are the one not to be trusted. We gave you our power, and you enslaved us here—our bodies wasting in this prison!" Borias bowed his head. His memory was still hazy, fragmented... but somewhere beneath the fog he could remember being a prisoner, too. Perhaps they could restore me to myself, he thought. "How can I help?" he asked. Valkorian's spirit shook with rage. "No! I am your master. You are mine. You belong to me forever!" Borias jolted as his body convulsed. He felt his energy being siphoned away—pulled from him in agonizing threads. Yellow-white streams of Force energy bled out of him and into the crystal. Theron rushed down the corridor with Vette close behind him. They struggled to stay upright as the GRAVESTONE began to shake violently. "The vessel must be subdued. The demon hunter must perish." Just as Theron and Vette reached the chamber entrance, Borias collapsed onto the deck-then vanished in front of them. "Borias! No!" Theron screamed. Vette's lavender eyes went wide. "What is going on?! How did he-?" She pointed frantically at the empty deck. "He just... vanished! But how?" "No idea," Theron muttered, breathless. "I don't think anyone is on the GRAVESTONE but us. People don't just disappear." Theron suddenly jerked back. "Whoa-wait. What's happening?" The oversized red-black crystal in the center compartment pulsed-then glowed a deep, violent red. "Don't look at me-I didn't touch it," Vette said. "We're moving," Theron realized, bracing himself. "We've got to figure out what's going on." He turned and headed back down the corridor, making for the bridge.

When they arrived, Borias parked the speeder outside of the large stone structure. He slipped his left hand into Theron's right hand and he was pleased that Theron didn't resist. Theron smiled up at him, being a few inches shorter than the 6'2" Sith Lord. "Quite a place you got here. It's beautiful. " Borias returned the smile as he led Theron up the stairs and into the entrance way. " I am pleased that you like it. There is a lovely grotto inside. Allow me to show you." Borias led him inside and off to the left, to a small cavernous room, where a small waterfall on the back wall flowed into a pool at he bottom. Torchlight lit the small stone room, benches lined the walls and Flora grew in the cracks on the stone ground. plants surrounded the small semi circular pool. "care for a swim?" Borias asked, stopping at the water's edge. Theron stood next to him glancing into the clear pool of water at their feet. "it looks refreshing." Borias smiled at him. he was honestly attracted to the sexy SIS agent, and it wasn't just sex. He had had several lovers, but none had made him feel this way before. He was too young to remember much from his brief stay on Tython, but even then, he vaguely remembered a connection to Theron Shan. They had much in common, though different as well their mothers both Jedi, both wanted peace, both wished to be loved. "hey ...are you okay?" Borias thoughts were interrupted for the moment. "forgive me Agent Shan." "please, call me Theron." "very well Theron. I need to be sure I hesitate to begin a relationship which will never bear fruit." Theron frowned. "You're having second thoughts I thought we were on the same page." "do not mistake my hesitation it does not mean I do not care it is only that I do not wish any harm to come to you you have been through enough pain already. " Borias sighed. You have no idea, Theron thought. "With me comes a heavy burden you do not deserve that." Theron's passion was building. he couldn't believe it, a Sith that actually cared. this made him even more desirable. "look...I know what's happening here. I really respect you, and the fact that you care about my feelings, is amazing to me. I've just never met a Sith who didn't care about anyone other than himself. look at all the things that you've accomplished.. for us, for me, for our Alliance. you could have walked away from it all, but you didn't. maybe it's Destiny.. I don't know, but something brought us back together again." "I do not believe in destiny. our path is what we choose it to be. I choose to be here with you now." he smiled warmly at Theron, squeezing his shoulders. Theron slid his arms around Borias, holding him firmly.

3638bby Yavin IV Massassi grounds " it may have been 300 years, but I still know you're presence Revan." Lord scourge shuffled through the temple on Yavin IV. They had been searching for days. so many areas to explore on this moon. So many lost artifacts. He turned when he heard the familiar shuffle of his beloved's booted feet. He smiled at the Grey Jedi he had come to care for so much. "I cleared the path outside they hardly put up a fight." Amethesta grinned, her pale cheeks flushed from exertion. He returned the smile. " I knew you could handle the Massassi. I was told they were formidable, but they are no match for us." Amethesta giggled. "Absolutely not." She moved over toward where Scourge stood. "He is here Scourge. I can sense Vitiate's presence. " "Then you are in tune to the dark side as well." He smiled proudly. "You continue to impress me.' She looked up at him. " I have always sensed both sides of the force, for as long as I can remember. Perhaps my connection to the dark side has drawn us together. " He reached around, placing a big red hand on her back. "Perhaps. I have seen you in my dreams for a long time, and I feel our closeness toward each other, but I regret that I cannot give you what you truly desire. For now, I am pleased to have you with me, and fighting by my side." "I love having you with me too Scourge. I have for a long time. Hopefully someday soon we may be able to break you from your prison." "That would please me greatly. My immortality is a curse. I cannot truly be myself without passion, and without that, i cannot be complete." "Through passion, I gain strength.." Amethesta said softly. " You are certainly not weak just because you cannot live the Sith code Scourge. I do not think you are any less of a Sith because of that." He laughed heartily. " You simply do not understand what it means to be a Sith." "I understand that it makes you unhappy, your immortality. I will always try to make you feel comfortable and content until we can find a way to make you whole again. " Scourge nodded. " I know, but first we must find Vitiate and destroy him once and for all. His essence is weak, but I sense him here. I believe he is laying in the shadows, waiting for his chance to strike, feeding on the weak.." The Temple began to shake violently suddenly. Rocks began to fall around them, quickly amplifying with each passing moment. "What is happening? Amethesta said, dodging rocks as they fell around them. Scourge looked up as the whole chamber of the temple broke apart. "I do not know, but if we do not wish to become a permanent fixture in this temple, we

3653 BBY - Tython The Temple was dark except for the pale glow of lanterns drifting along the hallways. Most Padawans were asleep, but Joanis sat upright in his bunk, breathing unevenly. He couldn't sleep. He felt... wrong. Master Yeshin sensed it from down the hall and stepped quietly into the sleeping quarters, robes whispering around him. "Joanis," he said softly, not wanting to alert the other boys. "Come with me." Joanis followed him out to the balcony overlooking the valley. The night air was cool. Tython's moons lit the treetops with silver. Yeshin put a hand on his nephew's shoulder - gentle, steadying. "You felt it again." Joanis nodded, swallowing hard. He looked much older now-shoulders broader, stance more composed-but his eyes still carried the same ache. "It was stronger this time," he whispered. "Too strong. Like... like something inside him snapped." Yeshin said nothing at first. He let the boy breathe. "Tell me what you felt." Joanis's hands curled into fists at his sides. "At first it was fear," he murmured. "Not his fear. Someone else's. And then... then everything went quiet and cold and I-" He trembled, his voice catching in his throat. "I felt him shut something off inside himself. Like a door slamming shut. Hard." Yeshin's expression tightened. He knew the signs. Every Sith apprentice reached that moment - the moment where they chose to become weapon over child. "You felt the darkness take hold," the Jedi Master said gently. "But that does not mean he is lost." Joanis closed his eyes. "Uncle... he killed someone. I know it. I could feel it." A breath hitched in his chest. It wasn't grief, or shock; it was the awful, hollow ache of helplessness. "A Sith acolyte's first kill is a turning point," Yeshin admitted. "But twins remain connected even through shadow. Light does not sever that bond." Joanis breathed out shakily. "I hate that I can feel him suffering. I hate that I can't do anything." Yeshin turned him gently to face him. "You cannot walk his path," he said quietly. "But you can be his anchor. Even if he does not know it. Even if he would deny it." Joanis stared out over the valley again, jaw tight. "It felt like... part of him died," he whispered. "Like a light going out." The Jedi Master shook his head. "No, my boy." He placed a hand over Joanis's heart. "If the light had gone out, you would not feel him at all." Joanis looked up at him — hope flickering weakly behind the sadness. "So he's still there," the boy whispered. "Somewhere." Yeshin nodded. "Yes. And when the day comes that you stand before him again... he will know you never left him." A single tear slipped down Joanis's cheek. "He's still my brother," he murmured. "And always will be," his uncle whispered. The night wind stirred, brushing past them like a whispered echo of Borias' presence - distant, wounded, but undeniably alive.

3656bby Tython Jedi Temple Joanis Domvar sat quietly watching as his aunt and Lord Scourge came off the shuttle on top of the Jedi Temple. The young Sith pure blood followed them quietly. Another one, Joanis thought. It was a strange thing that Aunt Amethesta and Lord Scourge were doing, he thought, but better I suppose. Everyone in their proper place, working for the greater good of us all. Every time another student was brought, he thought about his twin brother and how he fared in the hands of the Sith. He followed behind them quietly, walking through the corridor and out to the atrium. he walked over to the wall that faced the double doors of the Jedi Council chambers. After a few minutes he heard his mother's soft voice. "Joanis sweetheart, what are you doing here?" Joanis looked up at his mother. "I was waiting to see if there was any word from Korriban." Elleanna sat down next to her son and put an arm around him. "Borias is one of them now. There isn't anything we can do. He's a Sith, now and even if we knew about him, we still aren't permitted to see him. No attachments, remember?" Joanis let out a heavy sigh. "There is no emotion. There is peace." He bowed his head, his cropped black hair falling into his face. "I know Borias is dark, but I miss him mother." Elleanna pouted; her pink lips quivered. "I know...I miss him too." She said sadly. "I know it sounds cruel, but I try not to think about him or I'll be very sad." "Do you think that he misses us?" Elleanna shook her thick head of ginger hair. "I'm sure he doesn't even think of us. He's probably forgotten about us already." "I hope not. Joanis said softly. I know we aren't supposed to have attachment mother, but I don't want to forget him." Joanis lowered his eyes, his small hands curling into fists on his knees. "He's my other half." Elleanna touched his cheek gently. "I know. But the Jedi way asks us to let go of what we cannot control."

3607bby Nar Shaddaa the Promenade the Slippery slope was lively, the band played in the alcove across from the main bar. Lights were dim, patrons were scattered about the place at the many bar areas, conversations overlapping, hands wandering, music too sharp, laughter too forced, lights too bright for people trying not to think. Brey'enne surveyed the room as she would any assignment. Her goal was clear: tie up loose ends and cure old wounds. She found her query in one of the smaller private rooms. Jonas Balkar sat in the back room, nursing a drink he hadn't wanted but ordered anyway. The years were kind to him; he looked much younger than his 71 years, but his life had been riddled with plenty of pain and regrets. His thoughts drifted as he glanced around the backlit bar in one of the side rooms of the popular bar and gambling lounge. He turned when the soft voice addressed him. "You've been staring for a while," Brey'enne said softly, approaching the older man, the lights overhead flicked over his silver hair, making him appear as if he was wearing a halo. He turned, to look up at her, caught off guard "Have I?" She raised an eyebrow. "Either that, or you're trying to remember where you left something." Jonas smiled despite himself. "Guilty on both counts." She took a sip of her drink, watching him carefully, observing his reaction. "So which is it?" He shrugged. "Depends. Are you something I've lost, or something I'm about to regret?" That made her laughsoft, genuine. "Do you always talk like that to strangers?" "Only when I'm interested." He arched a silver eyebrow, looking into the golden eyes fondly. She studied him openly now, plopping down into the chair across from him. She leaned her chin on her hand. "That could be dangerous." "So I've been told." he grinned, showing his perfect smile. the SIS operative Jonas Balkar at 71. from the Star Wars story: “Family is more than blood”

Doing some more story with Jonas. Swtor dropped the ball on that one. Another missed opportunity. That’s okay…i fixed it as I always do when the story comes up short or is lacking.

The courtyard felt strangely empty once Borias' cries faded into the distance. Theron stood alone on the training tiles, rubbing the reddened skin on his throat, staring at the hangar where the shuttle had disappeared between the Temple spires. His small shoulders trembled-not from fear, but from guilt. Joanis approached quietly, clutching his practice saber at his side. His cropped black hair fluttered in the breeze as he watched Theron's face carefully. "You shouldn't be out here alone," Joanis said softly. Theron didn't look up. "It's my fault." "No it isn't." Joanis moved closer, his voice firm the way he had heard Master Yeshin speak. "Borias-he... he doesn't think before he reacts. Everyone knows that." Theron swallowed hard. "But if I hadn't hit him so hard—if I had been careful-he wouldn't have..." "Theron." Joanis placed a hand on his shoulder. "He almost killed you." Theron's breath hitched. "He's my friend." Joanis looked down at the ground, kicking lightly at the dust. "I know." They stood there together in silence, two boys trying to understand something much too big for their age. After a long moment, Joanis whispered, "Where do you think they're taking him?" Theron shook his head. "Somewhere far. Somewhere bad. I heard Master Satele say 'Korriban." Joanis stiffened. "That's where Sith go." Theron finally turned to face him. His golden-green eyes were filled with a sadness Joanis had never seen in an eight-year-old before. "Do Sith ever come back?" Theron asked. Joanis didn't answer at first. The wind rustled the training flags overhead. He finally breathed, "I don't know." Theron looked down at his hands-small, shaking, powerless. Joanis stepped in front of him, lifting his chin slightly in a gesture that felt far too mature for an eleven-year-old. "We'll find him again," He said firmly. Pause. "Someday." Theron blinked, tears beginning to well despite how hard he fought them. "You promise?" Joanis nodded without hesitation. "I promise. We'll bring him home." Theron threw his arms around him, hugging him tightly-not something Jedi younglings were "supposed" to do, but something he needed. Joanis hugged him back, eyes narrowing with quiet resolve. Even at eleven, he knew that their lives had just changed forever. And none of them-not Borias, not Joanis, not Theron would ever be the same after this day.

Odessen base the mesas 3629bby Lord Borias stood on the metal walkway that connected the alliance base to the expansive mesas across the way. The wind caught his long black hair, flicking it off of his broad shoulders. He smiled as he watched the alliance members going about their business. They had come so far since his return from his slumber in carbonite, his battle with his amnesia and their encounter with the gods. His mother had returned to him, his brother at his side once again, though he was busy with his studies and his teaching. He had a new family growing with Theron and Lazuli. He hadn't been sure if things would work out as they did. Even Theron's father had joined them. He shook his head. After all the trauma that Theron endured, they had always thought that the father - son relationship would go nowhere. He was happy to be wrong. Family was so important to him and he thought that in time, Theron would heal enough to accept this new life he had been given. he heard the familiar footsteps behind him and turned to see his beloved coming up behind him. "Good morning dearest. Did you sleep well?" Theron nuzzled him, kissing him softly. "You know I did." Borias chuckled, wrapping his arm around Theron's shoulders. "I sense you have something you want to tell me." Theron was used to Borias insight, being very strong in the force. "I never thought I would see the day, but my father is finally coming around. I guess he just needed a little encouragement. He certainly wasn't getting any from Satele." He looked over at the oversized statue across from where they stood on the mesa overlooking the Grey Temple. He squinted, making out his father's form looming at the statue's pedestal. It had become his daily ritual. "Indeed no," Borias said softly. "But consider what she put him through. I know a tortured soul when I see one." Theron nodded. "Yeah...i guess you're right." He sighed. "I was so angry for so long, that I guess I was blind to his feelings." Borias smiled. "I am so proud of you, allowing him to become part of your life. You know that is all he ever wanted." "And now, I guess we get a do over with the next generation." Theron grinned. "Indeed." Theron looked up into the piercing blue eyes. "Lazuli is pregnant again you know." Borias nodded. "I know. I hope that the child is yours this time." "Yeah. I just hope that I can be a good father." "You will be. The difference is the child will be surrounded with love, not neglect or lies."
