Visited a fantastic exhibition Sardinia The Island of Megaliths at Museu d’Arqueologia de Catalunya. Lovely lit images surrounding display cases gave a great sense of scale, atmosphere & impact, will have to visit Sardenya now! #StandingStoneSunday

These cliffs took my breath away (as did exploring some sea caves!). This is Beecroft Peninsula, not far from its southern tip (Point Perpendicular), where Jervis Bay meets the Tasman Sea on the south coast of NSW.

Always grateful to spend a day on slickrock. My partner and I explored an area that has caught our eye from multiple vantage points over the past few months. The sandstone textures we encountered were dreamy, and the stone stretched on for miles in all directions.

@downey06.bsky.social After a bit of stumbling thru old notes ‐fairly certain it's one of the Three Sisters formation of Monument Valley/Navajo Nation. I could be wrong, I go get unusual/different views of all types of sandstone -as well as any types/geological formations/architecture/statues/etc!
