Bright winter sun reflected in the sea and a pool on Hilbre island. Cloudy sky with blue above and brightest green moss, grass, and algae on the sandstone rocks in the foreground. All a bit dramatic. Two parallel lines of violet LED lights marking the edges of a wooden walkway through a subterranean corridor curving to the left and converging in the distance. The walkway is above pebbles & water. Campfire with a mixture of amber and blue flames. Very bright sun casting three rays of light over the high moors above Eskdale and reflecting in a stream flowing down the hill. Visited a fantastic exhibition Sardinia The Island of Megaliths at Museu d’Arqueologia de Catalunya. Lovely lit images surrounding display cases gave a great sense of scale, atmosphere & impact, will have to visit Sardenya now! #StandingStoneSunday

Interdimensional Portal Of The Week.
An interdimensional portal I found in the side of a sandstone holloway in Dorset. I crawled through this and found myself at one of the county's better-stocked branches of Co-Op, so felt that, ultimately, it was definitely worth ruining my best pair of trousers. Incidentally, it really fucks me off that when I write "holloway" autocorrect wants to capitalise the "H". I suppose it's not the most heinous crime, but it feels like yet another example of the modern world deciding that the things named after things are somehow more important than the things they are named after and possibly even attempting to completely wipe those things that they are named after from the face of history. I am thinking of course here about when you Google a word but then the first thing that comes up is not the original meaning of the word but some awful fucking corporate entity which has stolen the word and is in the process of sucking out the soul of it.

These cliffs took my breath away (as did exploring some sea caves!). This is Beecroft Peninsula, not far from its southern tip (Point Perpendicular), where Jervis Bay meets the Tasman Sea on the south coast of NSW.

Always grateful to spend a day on slickrock. My partner and I explored an area that has caught our eye from multiple vantage points over the past few months. The sandstone textures we encountered were dreamy, and the stone stretched on for miles in all directions.
