Just North of the Golden Gate Bridge is a small city named Sausalito. Sausalito is a beautiful city with hillside homes and docks that stretch out into the bay.

Dock Of The Bay You’re standing beneath a long concrete and wood dock, looking straight down its underside as it stretches out over the bay. I once spent the night at Hetfields’ house in Sausolito. It was great! We went to a grocery store and ate lunch in the front of the store where everyone could see us and not a single person said a thing or even noticed.

#OneAlbumADay; I watched Tom Petty: Heartbreakers Beach Party (2025) on Paramount Plus, which sent me searching for early live recordings in my iTunes library, where I found this live set from The Record Plant, Sausolito, April 22nd 1977 (broadcast on KSAN-FM); Al Kooper joins the band at one point.
This was pretty early in their career, a concert nearly a year before the release of their second LP (May 2, 1978); Al Kooper joins the band at one point. They close with "Route 66."

Nog een bewijs dat ik veel om de Top 2000 geef: ik heb een Excel-tabel met alle lijsten en er is al een kolom voor 2024 ingevoegd. Ik heb cellen gemarkeerd in groen (zeker binnen), geel (onzeker) of rood (zeker uit), die voor voorspellingen staan.

Voor Sausolito Summernight heb ik geel.
