Vox managed to angle towards the building, colliding painfully with the metallic surface, head cracking against it, making his vision flicker and sensors ring. His claw scraped, skidded against the colorful material. Screeching and sparking, juddering over each minute irregularity as he continued to fall. When he rose from the chair, it was a smooth and fluid movement, just like how Angel had always moved. "I should be going. Velvette will want me back." His voice was low, like he didn't want to disturb the quiet. He still cradled Vox's hand in his own. Valentino bent in half, first towards the mangled wreckage of Vox's head, "Te quiero con todo mi corazón." His antenna flicked and fluttered, ghosting over the exposed mess of wires and circuits. He dipped his head to Vox's hand. Pressing a gentle kiss to the back of his hand, then carefully turning it over to brush one against his inner wrist, and one more to the palm of his hand. The claws of Vox's limp fingers almost seemed to curl in a caress against Valentino's cheek with the pressure. "Te necesito en mi vida, mi amor. Volveré pronto a ti." He murmured into the palm before withdrawing. Carefully settling the hand back against the bed and extracting himself with a lingering touch. Reluctant to let go. To leave. Like letting go was physically painful. The whole thing was so achingly tender that Charlie felt herself flushing again, it was… Sweet. And uncomfortable. To know Valentino was capable of horrific violence and yet… How gentle he was with Vox's unresponsive, still regenerating body. Like it was something delicate and fragile and irreparably precious. Hawks grimaced, looking over his shoulder. His feathers were gone. In place of the long, scarlet feathers that allowed him to effortlessly ride the wind, all that remained was a layer of fluffy white-grey down. Except along the outer margins where the more delicate fluff had rubbed away, leaving exposed stretches of pale, pink skin. Fuck. He shivered. No wonder he was cold. He tightly folded in his wings to reduce surface area, attempt to regulate heat loss as best he could without his usual layers of insulation. His throat itched as he sucked in his next breath resulting in a choked cough that rapidly devolved into a coughing fit. He doubled over, talons catching in the fabric of his shirt as he clutched at his chest. Desperately trying to inhale while his lungs violently ejected it. His head throbbed. Entire body shaking as he fought to catch his breath. It felt like an eternity before the coughing relented, leaving him drained and dizzy and exhausted. He needed to get up. Move. Get a better grasp of his situation. All he wanted was to sleep. Curl up and stop thinking and. Make it all stop. Maybe it would just. Go away. But it wouldn't. It was a stupid, childish thought. His breathing shook on the exhale. He curled within the embrace, tentatively wrapping his arms around the slim waist in return. Terrified of rejection. He'd have deserved it. His hands were still shaking. Gentle on the familiar velvet of red wings, fitting perfectly over the white marks where they belonged. He shuddered, screen pressing into the muscled chest, edge digging in. It couldn't have been comfortable but Val didn't move. Just. Stayed. Holding him. Surrounding him. Solid and warm and real. He could have lost this. Maybe he had and this was the last he would ever have. He didn't dare move. Risk losing this safety forever. Cast aside. Behind. Alone. He couldn't. Not again. Never again. Not if he had any say in the matter. Which. Maybe he didn't. Not anymore. He'd lost that privledge. When he'd nearly- He'd take what he was given. Didn't dare ask for anything else. But- He craved- a hungry desperation welling within- but no. Not this time. Not again. The siren call of unfulfillable desires. The endless quest for more, more, more, more, more- He shivered, the warmth surrounding him slowly melting the ice in his limbs. Returning life. Feeling. He pressed closer though it wasn't really possible. Chest to chest. Entwined as closely as two seperate people could be. Maybe that was too greedy. Asking too much. He was always too much. Arms shifted. Hands. Long fingers memorized over the decades, tracing gentle circles on his back, on his arms. Familiar movements repeated back over the years but never like-They'd never really been gentle, that had never been them; maybe he'd never allowed it to be them, but- Maybe. Safe. Familiar. Home. Maybe that's all that really mattered. Maybe that was enough…

Another not-so-known gem for the SNES, Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen. Be warned it has POLITICS. You lead an army of fantasy weirdos, but fighting the baddies without becoming a war criminal yourself is the actual goal of the game.
A box cart for the titular Ogre Battle The March of the Black Queen. It's a standard format found in the americas. It has the "Nintendo Seal of Quality on the top right, the "Super Nintendo Entertainment System" logo on the bottom, and on the right border a quip saying "THE ULTIMATE FANTASY SIMULATION R.P.G.". The main art is about two armies of fantasy figures clashing, on the left we have a dragon, siren, fairy, imp, beastmaster and an angel and on the right a wild man, a cleric, a dollmancer, a knight, a samurai and a wizard, all very colorful and in a deceptively cutesy look.

Like all members of the demigod race, he does not have sclera and his eyes shine in a white light. Setheranon has dark skin and long silver hair. As he is a fallen angel, his wings are black and the rest of his body appears somewhat muted. Setheranon wears tattered clothing, most of it was sourced during a prison escape. He wears a red trench coat and boat shoes of a similar colour. The left shoulder is ripped, but it is otherwise in good condition. His beige pants are worn at the pipes, though the silver belt is still pristine. He wears cuffs with the remnants of chains on his wrists and ankles, another sign of a hasty escape. Caitlyn is an earthling, which is quite literary our universe's incarnation of earth's human race. Compared to other human sub-species, earthlings are as a whole average, being neither tall not short, stocky or thin. The easiest way to identify them is through their eyes, which consist of a closed-outline and perfectly round pupils (based on realistic eyes) and is unique to them. Caitlyn has blue eyes with one covered with her short black hair. Caitlyn is a girl raised in modern society, specifically the mid-2000's. She is shown to be a punk, with a pink tank-top and beanie, short blue jeans, striped stockings and sporty shoes. She wields a hairdryer gun, with the cable ending in an English (her country of origin) plug. Her right arm is glowing bluely and surrounded with electricity. Sparks is a Tiran, which is a human sub-species with larger than average heads, eyes and feet, while having a comparitivly shorter body. His hair is blonde with brown tips, and reaches just below his shoulders. Sparks plays the guitar, bending backwards as he does so. He is dressed in a yellow beanie, shoes and bodywarmer, with a black shirt underneath. His jeans are gray. His ferret companion Ray Ray is hanging around his leg. His weapon is an axe, which doubles as a guitar, which he can be seen posing with. Her 'outfit' is also made of the same water, and consists of a simple 'dress', with a short 'shirt' underneath. All of it is ''kept together'' by a large 'lace'. Helena can be seen wielding a large golden trident, the traditional weapon of the burly male sirens, which she has trouble wielding due to its weight. Helena is a major character in our Symphony saga, being a primary protagonist of the first book.
