Pretty much every name in the X-Wing books is great Star Wars stuff. Wedge Antilles was already S-tier going in, but come on... Tycho Celchu? Corran Horn? Myn Donos? Booster and Mirax Terrik? And Ysanne Isard? I could only dream of coming up with a name of such dubious pronunciation!

With a field of 12 inc PCs, I planned to roll only for 3 major NPC rivals, w my Thakwaash being the most skilled

One of the other rival podracers NPCs would be a Sloth species, excruciatingly slow to the eye—but hilariously/inexplicably fast once behind the wheel in a cockpit shielded from view lol

Undefeated in over 50 races, Manowaar "Mano" Stalleone was a #podracing champion many times over, twice winning both the Galactic Circuit & Invitational Circuit. But the mercurial #Thakwaash has yet to win all 3 "Triple Crown" races—and only the #StarWarsRPG PCs stand in his way!

Styled to be a cocksure, hirsute and "Italo-sleazy" equine being, he is well muscled and has gone to great pains to ensure that chest hair shows atop the wide-collar of his tight black shirt. He wears something like a chopped/brush-topped man-bun or top-knot, a spacer’s vest, and a wrist-bracer with instrumentation to monitor his podracer’s performance. The wrist-bracer panel design is based on the thing on the chest of the "Civilian Robe" from The Acolyte. "Mano" is pointing to himself with his thumb, in a tilted “I’m a gonna win” thumbs-up gesture.
