Scrolling headlines ≠ understanding the issue.
Before reacting, check sources, context, and who is affected.
In the age of fast feeds, critical thinking is a civic skill — not a luxury. #UCWPUBR300

I think this article is a secondary research of data , with some qualitative information.#UCWPUBR300.

In my opinion qualitative research and platform based research, because Gen Z doesn’t just consume beauty content, they co create it. And qualitative research is important because it tell us what is happening and why.#UCWPUBR300.

I think some of the risks could be the confidentiality issues and data privacy, such as uploading sensitive documents or embargoed information.
This could be mitigate, with the creation of some rules about which data can and cannot be entered.#UCWPUBR300

I think an example of this could be the trend detection and social listening, such as how influencers driving conversations, or rising hashtags or keywords.#UCWPUBR300

Research, it’s important because it helps you to understand, who is your audience, what they care about, and how they currently see the brand. An example of this could be to encourage public transit use.#UCWPUBR300

AI in PR research carries risks such as biased or inaccurate data, ethical and privacy concerns, and lack of human judgment. Over-reliance on AI can reduce creativity and critical thinking, while AI may also fail to understand cultural context and emotions.

This is am example of secondary research. This is an example of post and videos that already online. It's an existing content , I'm not collecting data and the information is already there.#UCWPUBR300

#UCWPUBR300 It’s OGL time! My weekend has been relaxing so far—had some time to unwind and get organized for the week. Excited learn from everyone’s ideas and perspectives! 😊

i can complete agree to this as AI has been a major tool in social media coverage and analytics around brands which PR professionals deal with, it helps PR to understand the opportunities and plan there campaigns for business

#UCWPUBR300 The organization is reviewing already-published social media posts and news coverage to understand public opinion, without engaging directly with key publics. This makes it non-reactive research and a form of social listening used to analyze public sentiment and issues.
February 2, 2026 at 4:35 AM
Yes, I think these examples include both. Social media listening is secondary research because it analyzes existing conversations without direct interaction. On the other hand, online surveys are primary research because data is collected directly from Gen Z respondents. #UCWPUBR300
February 2, 2026 at 4:29 AM
Since I'm not directly interacting with key publics, I would say that the type is secondary research. The information is gathered from existing sources (in this case CBC News) rather than collected firsthand from key publics. #UCWPUBR300

TotallY, AI can help with research and shaping ideas, but it can’t replace human perspective or judgment. Our experiences and opinions are what make content unique. The best is using AI to support creativity, not substitute it. #UCWPUBR300

I think there is little doubt that AI can support the research in RACE process (information gathering, pattern detection and synthesis); gains in speed (93%) and quality (82%) support that; however, the insights have to be human validated to ensure accuracy, context and ethical judgment. #UCWPUBR300

For example, if a brand wants to expand to a new city they need to do research on the public to see if that city is the best fit according to their attitudes, their culture, competitors etc. Which even allows to know how to introduce it and how to announce it, making a great campaign. #UCWPUBR300

It's research!! And it is super important because it is what allows to have a strategy to succeed in identifying and understanding the audience, the messaging required, the best channels, and any issues that may arise. #UCWPUBR300

One of the risk Ai for pr research is that Ai is not 100% accurate therefore it may give wrong and bias information. Our data may be exposed hence confidential information is shared. This can be reduced my double checking fact. the importance of research comes in at this point. #UCWPUBR300

The primary step in the RACE model is the Research phase, which is the key to the success of an undertaken campaign. Similar to a medical diagnosis before a treatment plan, a PR program needs to be based on research to transform speculations into an evidence-based approach. #UCWPUBR300

In this OGL class, I focused on understanding the research stage of the RACE cycle and how research supports effective PR planning. I also search information related to group assignment, especially examples of different survey designs that could be applied to the case. #UCWPUBR300 @wahibachair.com
