FL roles are often badly written, but overall I think PMY serves the material well and has been quite good in HPL, Healer, WWWSK. I don’t seek her out, so maybe I’ve just missed it. There are a few actresses I actively dislike and others find empty or flat, but she’s not one of them.

I agree with your WWWSK choice, so I'll go with Gong Yoo in Squid Game 2, a series not to everyone's taste, but one that drew international acclaim.

I am rewatching WWWSK? again first! I have ordered several from Asia and Australia that I can't get here in states. Next could be The Classic w Son Ye Jon . I liked the looks of First Night W the Duke. I have to go for Encounter again. Let me know what you think.

Sometimes you just want something cute, comforting and familiar. My Dearest Nemesis (now on Viki) is exactly that #kdrama. It's very endearing with a lovely message of self-acceptance. I loved Choi Hyun Wook's performance -channelling WWWSK was risk, but it worked for me :) #mydearestnemesis

Last night, I thought about it some more and came up with two K-dramas I watched before WWWSK: #StrongWomanDoBongSoon and #DescendantsOfTheSun. SWBDS may have been my very first indeed. I got into K-dramas around 2018/19.

Also I just realized that was a cameo by Jung Yumi in that part of the drama. I had no idea who she was when I watched the drama. WWWSK was one of my firsts.
