The opportunity to work with INCREDIBLE teachers that want to bring such important work to their students. The activities help students see how relevant the content I teach—mathematics—is to their everyday lives. It’s incredibly rewarding to help teachers connect population dynamics, equity, and sustainability—and see them excited to bring those ideas into their classrooms. It's a lot of fun to be able to share these lessons from my content perspective, science, but also how they can fit into other classroom content as well.
