The morning browse begins with a familiar procession: Mwinzi leads, followed by Natibu, gentle Toto, and finally boss lady Korbessa at the rear. It's a natural hierarchy amongst our Kaluku orphans, teaching essential skills – navigation, foraging, and herd dynamics.

Pausing to nibble on patches of grass, rescued orphan giraffe Twiggy is in no rush on her morning walk! It's a win-win, Twiggy enjoys a green treat and we reap the benefits of a natural lawn mower on the airstrip!

If you've not met Twiggy before, read her story: www.swt.bio/twiggy
