I think the problem is mostly the writing of ML character. He's vety long very closed in his own world. But especially her character and her portrayal were very lovely imo.

Well you were right that I should rewatch…uh…wait…oh yes #AreYouTheOne which I just very much enjoyed the second time around so maybe I won’t toss Serendipity into the reject pile. I do remember there were some great scenes and I do love both the main actors.

I didn’t like his role so much in #AreYouTheOne, but he was very good in the recent #BloodRiver, even though I haven’t finished it, & was a nice highlight in the slightly disappointing #SwordandBeloved - he’s definitely an up & coming actor

I agree on that! My personal favourite is historical #cdrama is #AreYouTheOne despite they hadn't the intense intimacy like TPOB I'm so in love of the story structure and balance of intrigue, romance, action, comedy & character growth.

#BlossomsinAdversity is excellent. I have watched it twice. Ditto #FlourishedPeony. I didn’t quite like AreYouTheOne as much as the plot was so ridiculously far fetched.

I loved this drama 🥰 - underdog stories are always fun, & it had both a warm family dynamic as well as an interesting romantic pairing (without *too* much politics)
