When I come home I always let the cat know that it's me - y'know, just in case she's worried who it might be.

But as she can tell which of the 13 kitchen cupboards is being opened at 30 paces I'm sure she can determine that it's me bumbling through the front door...

Happy birthday to the beautiful ball of fluff that is asleep beside me. 4 years ago some posh cat got knocked up by the nextdoor's heinz 57 Tom. The resulting offspring were of no monetary value but this one became very dear to me ♥️
