I want to emphasize these extreme bandwidth KVMs are niche products and are not ripoffs. I've personally chatted with Level1Techs on how much goes wrong at that kind of speed, not binning for the greatest parts. That is what they cost when you produce something that specialized at such a low run.

We have a huge bandwidth/attention allocation problem, along with all of our other problems in American politics. We spend so much time talking about dumb, useless, utterly unimportant stuff & so little time talking about actual solutions to our authoritarianism problem:
Yes, of course, none of this will happen yet & will only happen once the few supposedly "moderate" Republicans left stop being total cowards. But we need to talk about these solutions as the <actual solutions>, rather than wasting so much time on Doing A Popularism or Funny Words or The Argument.
This will be true even if we have free/fair elections in 2026/28 & Dems run the table. They won't win 60 seats in the Senate. So <any> solutions & institutional reforms to fix/reverse/avoid more fascism will require GOP support. No, it's not likely. But that's doesn't make it less necessary or true.

This is greatly driven by investors who demand huge successes. They want a piece of a game that everybody plays for ten years. What they don't understand is that there's a limited audience bandwidth available for that, and what makes a hit is much more complex than deciding to make one.

I find myself wanting to make more friends but constantly running short on social bandwidth just to socialize with my existing friends.
I feel like a shared activity and actually hearing someone else's voice helps cement the friendship, talking in real time and sharing an experience together.

I have logs and IP addresses and can point very specific fingers at bad actors. Will that change anything? No. What I have done is blocked crawlers to stop hemorrhaging bandwidth which means future machines will continue to have a knowledge deficit when it comes to a11y. Is that a win? I’m not sure.

Just a quick accountability post: I think I finally have the bandwidth to get back to working on my creator owned project.
