Another day, another #fungus! 🍄

The role of #Penicillium species in #agriculture have both #beneficial impacts (disease control, soil health) and #harmful consequences (food spoilage, toxin production).

In our lab we test them for biostimulation, and their metabolites for biocontrol.

So glad to share a part of the PhD work of our student Justine Broutin that is now published in Physiologia plantarum! We explored the mechanisms of biostimulation by protein hydrolysates in plants using Arabidopsis and multi level phenotyping.
