I read this book about 2 years ago. It talks about Germany pre Hitler, during Hitler and after Hitler, including the plans he made while in jail and the death marches. If you read it, you will see certain events are parallel to today. #booksky #blackskybookclub

Fantasy was/is not my thing either. BUT, I read #NDJones's #BlackFantasy #AQueensPride & it was good!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It was cathartic & engaging. I'm not a fantasy person so I was a bit worried about the lion/person/shapeshifting thing but I got drawn into the story.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Horrible and fantastic all at once. Historical fiction/fantasy. Main characters are young folk but the subject matter is grown and not at all sexy. Excellent example of CORRECTive Black fiction.

N HS, I found out there were LETTERING classes but I didn't have space 2 explore bc I was deep off n honors & AP classes & my #ScienceAndArtCurriculum @ #CassTech & I felt 😞

Fun Fact: A Series of Unfortunate Events is my fav book series of all time! I watch the show on Netflix for comfort (they did AMAZING bringing each book to life) and I STILL have all 13 books on my phone and computer 😌 #BlackskyBookclub
