After working on retro shaders for a while it's now time to build actual content - modeling low poly environments is not much of a problem anymore but I didn't expect that texturing would be such a hurdle for me. Well, let's go, I guess. (×_×)

Curvature and CRT overlays incoming.
The CRT overlays will match the aspect ratio of the internal low-res image. You can stretch it for further adjustment. This should be sufficient for creating some nice looking CRT-presets.

Wenn ich mal Zeit und Motivation übrig habe, versuche ich, einen Algorhitmus zu zaubern, der prozedurales Terrain mit Erosion für die #FlaxEngine hinbekommt.😁

Testing the a new engine and the default post processing is hilarious.

I started porting my game to Flax from Godot. So far, it's a better fit for my style.

So given the announcement from Unity what engines can you recommend? I've so far been recommended Stride3D and FlaxEngine. They both have modern C# support and seem very close to Unity's own APIs. Stride3d is even MIT licensed with full source.

Decided to add burst fire into my weapon system. Here's a prototype of what that looks like.

I plan to show case other parts of the weapon system (hopefully) soon™

Still have to finish implementing the inventory system.

Texture warping can get a bit extreme as there's no distance based subdivision right now. I need to evaluate if I can implement it. Otherwise, I'll need to somehow fake it. 👻
