Mistigram: The inimitable @polyducks.bsky.social here drew a fabulous ##flyingtoaster, mascot of the After Dark screensaver dynasty, in ##textmode art (most likely using a character set and colour palette of his own devising). It was included in the MIST1121 artpack collection.

FlyingToaster isn't saying it like "it's none of your business," rather that "instance" is meant to indicate something more general, an abstraction, & distinctions aren't relevant. Think of an instance as a program that's currently running, like you might have 2+ instances of Word running right now.
