the gishtola slow burn was literal years long btw. they had ridiculous levels of ust from as soon as they first met in arr but they coyly danced around it for ages, and things kept getting in the way, and then they were finally forced to confront it when gisèle rescued her from elidibus.

in parallel to thanuri. and it made Ysayle realize a lot of things abt how she’d been holding back to a degree w Gisèle, and spending 5 years apart from her made her resolve to stop. Gishtola had their own extremely slow burn that didn’t resolve until 5.x when Shtola got snatched by Elidibus.

gposing gishtola specifically is really hard tho bc people REALLY love to put yaoi height rules even on yuri and those "teehee i'm a smol kity~ ^_^" poses just. lmao. nope. but 99% of couple poses regardless have the taller one as the dominant/protective one even in sfw and it's so depressing

#gislore Case in point: when she got to the First and learned that Ysayle and Y’shtola had been living together for several years in Slitherbough. She was genuinely verklempt that two people she loved so dearly were able to find joy in an awful situation (and this is when Gishtola was just UST).
Gisèle doesn’t have a single jealous bone in her body about anything and isn’t possessive at all either. This is a woman deeply secure in who she is, one who actively rejects the scarcity economy worldview where everything is a competition one must stake a claim in or else. She lives in abundance.
