This year’s harvest of glass gem corn. Varying success. Still have a few on the stalks as they were green. Lost a few to mold. Might plant these a little earlier next year. #glassgemcorn

Pre-colonization Glass Gem Corn, Indigenous to North America, regrown by a Cherokee farmer in Oklahoma. This particular corn is a mix of ancient Pawnee, Osage and Cherokee varieties.

Through row 40 of the Starlight Shawl, and the rest of this is done in the accent yarn, so I have a tiny ball of GlassGemCorn left. The remainder of the shawl is beaded, and I'm waiting to get those in the mail, so now I'll put it away fro a few days. #crochet
