If you're nominating for the Hugos, I just want to point out that Lee Harris is my editor for both Witch King and Queen Demon, the recent reprints of my earlier books, and of all the Murderbot Diaries, from the time he bought All Systems Red for Tordotcom in 2016!

I grew up on the border and this is true. I can listen to Tejano without understanding every word and still groove to it...

Tall guy in front of us at the Lubbock airport when the AA agent says she can't find a reservation for Jabbar. He patiently explains that it's Abdul-Jabbar, hyphenated. Took her a while to find it, but he was super patient and courteous througout. (Obvs, this was author Kareem Abdul-Jabaar.)
One of my academic colleagues looks a bit like Bob Mortimer. One time near our labs I saw him walking towards me and I warmly said Hey Kevin. It was Bob Mortimer.

This was also the first time I've worn contact lenses in 2 weeks, which was a little jarring and a bit sad-making (cutting back on lens wearing.)

Took the crazy sweater yoke off the blocking squares, and the picots held (not popping back into the back side), so I'll proceed with working on the sweater from here. Separation of the sleeves happens now!!!
