Absolutely love people saying they're taking their time reading these. So much of life is whirling glurge. I didn't want to dole out more. There're word choices you can sit with, unapologetically poetic action sequences, dialogue at times bordering on non sequitur: things that invite a slowdown.

And I have no doubt that AI will get there. I'm here for our future Mr Datas & Max Headrooms. But we'll only get there via ethics, responsibility & time, not the greed of people only interested in another means of funneling your money into their distended jaws.

If I'm at a party & u ask what I do, I'm a writer. I've studied words enuff to love the possibilities in 'em, & every story I do I psych myself up love me & the reader in a special way. It's all about the attempt, y'all, not the attempt at content. For better or worse, I love making things 4 u.

I love what I do with words. You'll never find me asking a machine for a turn of phrase or character insight, because there's an innate difference between "I did that" & "I prompted that" when it comes to twanging The Great Connective Strand. Do the thing, y'all, before there's nothing left to do.
