My novella Emma's Story is a tale about a young woman facing a big decision she’s not quite ready to make.
There’s also a bear, sleigh rides in the snow, and hot whiskey by the fireplace.

While writing Lost Dogs, I spent a lot of time in cafes (coffee and brownie/snack) and pubs (Guinness and pizza).
It was part of my process, and it turned the writing session into something special.
I didn't consider that the food and drink would influence the story, though, but it probably did.

Well, I've got a book coming out, and the cover has been revealed, so it's time to share the trope map (is that what it's called?).

If I were to be realistic about it, I'd probably have to go with magic, since I'm a failure at anything that requires speed, agility, or hand-eye coordination.
That said, if I'm just daydreaming anyway, I'd say sword all the way. Magical sword!

With winter coming on and days getting shorter and colder here in the northern hemisphere, I'd like to draw some attention to my novella Emma's Story.
It's a cold, wintry read. Humble in scope, yet brave in character.

It's also an experiment in narrative voice, and it's my first book I published.

The biggest challenge of formatting this book is remembering to sit with proper posture and to take regular breaks, so the pain in my neck and shoulder doesn't get too bad. :(

Yeah this has become the utter pain of what we once had. Used to be you'd run to Google for a trusted and quick search and now I try to avoid it when I can

Legit ruined their own product to the point of being unrecognizable
