ohhhh yep, that particular snake is a blue insularis pit viper, i’m pretty sure there’s no antivenin for their venom!😭😭
if there’s people dead set on having a blue snake, a perfect alternative would be a blue rein snake (gonyosoma frenatum)!
they’re non venomous and small, and look pretty similar!💖

ohhhh yep, that particular snake is a blue insularis pit viper, i’m pretty sure there’s no antivenin for their venom!😭😭
if there’s people dead set on having a blue snake, a perfect alternative would be a blue rein snake (gonyosoma frenatum)!
they’re non venomous and small, and look pretty similar!💖

Ohhhh top three maybe eastern copperhead (Agkistrodon contortrix), rainbow tree snake (Gonyosoma margaritatum), and Russian ratsnakes (Elaphe schrenkii)? It's hard because I love em all!
Unless you mean species to keep? Definitely ratsnakes. Working with copperheads is fun but keeping is not for me
